Perched on a soft, peaceful beach on Yucatan's Gulf of Mexico coast, Villa Azzurra is your home while you are away from home. This lovely 3-bedroom villa is just outside the fishing village of Telchac Puerto, 50 km. northeast of Yucatan's capital city of Merida. All three bedrooms have a view of the sea, with its layers of dazzling colors ranging from emerald green to azure.

The house, completed in September 2011, was designed and built by its architect-owner, whose vision for a waterfront home encompassed comfort, privacy, convenience, security, and peace and quiet. The unique floor plan offers user flexibility in ways that other beach homes don't: the master bedroom, with its complete bath and private ocean-view terrace, is on the second floor of the main house, while the two guest bedrooms, with their complete baths and ocean views, are completely separate structures. This allows for more privacy, making the villa an ideal vacation home for either a family of six; three couples; or a group of six friends. The master bedroom and one guest house each have queen size beds, and the other guest house has the option of 2 single beds or a king size bed. The common areas of kitchen, dining room, living room, and complete 4th bathroom are on the main floor under the master bedroom. There is also a beachfront terrace and dipping pool.

-         Main terrace has ceiling fan, palapa thatched roof, outdoor shower, BBQ, and dipping pool with sitting area and deep end.

-         Fully furnished throughout.

-         Sheets, quilts, pillows, towels, beach towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo provided.

-         Fully equipped kitchen including fridge with freezer and stove with oven, stainless steel cookware, toaster, blender, citrus juicer, coffee maker, and full range of dishes, cutlery, and drinkware.

-         First 20-liter garrafon of water provided, as well as fresh fruit and coffee on first morning.

-         Gas-powered on-demand hot water heater.

-         Three-speaker system for connection to your laptop, iPod, or iPhone.

-         Secure compound with steel gates and motion detector lights.

-         Ceiling fans in every space including terrace, and cross-ventilation throughout house, taking advantage of refreshing ocean breezes.

-         Computer station with space for two laptops and high speed internet ($10 USD per day for internet service).

-         Cell phone (pay for your own calls; pre-programmed to house owner).

-         Weekly maid service (not laundry) plus pool maintenance and cleaning. Washing machine with line drying on upper terrace.
